Want to bring something new to your community?
My vision
Fewer steps between an empty building and an open door.
The problem
A neighborhood is only as strong as the people in it. Too many homes sit empty and too many storefronts stay dark, because the path from vacancy to an open door has too many steps and too few dollars.
The fix
Streamline the systems that make building hard. Bring in resources for more affordable, walkable housing so more families can call the 8th Ward home. Back community-led art, gardens and activation that give people a reason to stay.
What you’ll see
Lights on in the house next door. A coffee shop, a clothing store or a studio on a block that was dark, with neighbors living above and around it.
