I am proud of the 78th District and its history. I am proud of the life that this district brings to our city. As Representative, it would be my honor to represent the vibrant and diverse neighborhoods of the 78th. This is a district that holds the gems of St. Louis’ past and the promise of what our city can accomplish together. Jami Cox: High school student speaks out for youth

Jaqueline (Jami) Cox, a rising senior at Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School, has done all the above. Following the fatal shooting of a middle-school classmate late in 2009, and the devastating effect it had on the community, Cox decided something had to be done.

Two Vanderbilt seniors awarded prestigious scholarships

Cox, from St. Louis, Missouri, is majoring in public policy studies and minoring in Chinese language studies ..She will be Vanderbilt’s second Schwarzman Scholar.
