My Commitment to the 8th Ward

Stronger Neighborhoods

Jami knows what it takes to turn vacant lots into vibrant neighborhoods—securing investment, navigating approvals, and partnering with communities to deliver real results. She'll champion smart policy, streamline city processes, and drive investment to bring affordable housing, thriving businesses, and public spaces to the 8th Ward.

Safer Streets

Jami believes lasting safety means more than reacting to crime—it means tackling root causes like decay and disinvestment, and building real partnerships between neighbors and police. She’ll invest in prevention, elevate youth voices, and create safer streets through trust, opportunity, and community-led solutions.

My Plan for a Stronger 8th Ward

Our neighborhoods deserve leadership that listens, acts, and delivers. I’m running to represent the 8th Ward because I believe in the power of local government to make a real difference in people’s lives. Whether it’s making it easier to open a small business, ensuring our streets are safe and walkable, or fighting for housing that working families can afford — I’m focused on getting things done. My platform reflects the everyday needs and bold hopes of our community. Here's how I plan to lead:

Invest in the Historic Heart of St. Louis

I’ll fight for more affordable housing, support small businesses, and cut red tape so our neighborhoods — from downtown to Cherokee Street — can thrive.

Champion Community-Centered Public Safety

I’ll prioritize proactive safety solutions, better transit, and safer streets to make the 8th Ward more walkable, livable, and connected.

Advocate for Shared Prosperity

I’m committed to policies that invest in disinvested communities, uplift workers, and ensure every family has a fair shot at opportunity.
